My Bio

I'm a 40ish year old Gamer. Father of two boys. I've always been something of an artist. I started with line art and moved up to digital images. Then I got interested in making character models and such for the games I played way back when so got into the 3D modeling side of things. After my sons were born though I discovered that I didn't have the time to devote to drawing or modeling and so I moved on to Bryce and just recently DAZ Studio.

I've recently started to move into other avenues such as zBrush to enhance some of the normal models that I'm using in my other programs. I'm hoping to really improve and build on my skills to make a lot of the things I see in my head come to life.

Branching Out a Bit

The last couple of renders that I've put up have been a tad bit experimental.  While I've used Photoshop before to do things such as add a bit of perspective or soften this and that I haven't used it much to actually add details or parts before.  I branched out a bit and did a render of a Mordesh for a friend of mine and I was posed with a bit of an interesting situation. The Mordesh have little bits and bobs on them that you can see bones and such through.  I could have tried to do something in zbrush or the like but I felt like that might have been overkill a bit for what I really needed to accomplish.  So I did a bit of cheating.  I posed
